As you might probably have read before, when the new MacBook Air was announced I was tempted to switch from being a heavy microsoft vista user to a new mac user, but then I researched a bit more and came to the conclusion that even though I was thrilled about the new MacBook Air mainly because of its size and weight, I started finding out it had some major weaknesses. I wrote about it here.
There were some friends and colleagues who asked if I was 100% sure about the decision
Ten days have gone by and I am now so happy I DID NOT buy a MacBook Air, because according to some very credible technology journalist and reviewers, this ultra light notebook is not as good as they originally thought, like for example:
- Engadget – Wrote about ow the USB 3G Modems won’t fit in the MacBook Air
- Walt Mossberg – Wall Street Journal – Wrote in detail about all the weaknesses that the new notebook has
- Ed Baig – USA Today – “A Sexy comptuer with some flaws”
- Steve Levy – Newsweek Magazine -Wrote a not so positive MacBook Air review
- 7 Notable feature flaws in the MacBook Air

So for now – No Air for me… I am NOW 100% sure about my decision…
